DMCA Policy for Viralpoop.com

It is our policy to respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and to take appropriate action under applicable intellectual property laws. 1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on Viralpoop.com in a way that violates your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice to us. Your notice must include the following information to be considered valid under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)):

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material removed or disabled in response to a DMCA Takedown Notice was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification in accordance with sections 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include the following:

  • Identification of the removed material and where it was located on Viralpoop.com prior to removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original DMCA complaint or an agent of that party.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Once a proper counter-notification is received, we may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days unless we receive notice from the original complaining party that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

4. Repeat Infringers

Viralpoop.com reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights.

5. False Claims

Please be aware that under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)), any person who knowingly submits a false claim of copyright infringement or a false counter-notification may be subject to liability. We take the submission of false claims seriously and may pursue legal action against parties who submit fraudulent notices or counter-notifications.
